Spyderco Dragonfly 2

The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 concentrates full-scale design detail into a compact 2.28-inch format. Its round thumb hole controls the opening movement, while the back lock secures the blade during use.

The short blade, pronounced finger choil, and textured FRN construction create a compact folding knife that remains comfortable and composed in the hand. Available variants pair this design with VG-10 or CPM SPY27 steel, allowing buyers to choose between proven everyday stainless performance and Spyderco’s proprietary steel formulation.

Design and Craftsmanship

• Compact geometry: The handle and finger choil are shaped to provide useful hand placement without adding unnecessary bulk.
• Controlled operation: The blade is opened with the thumb through Spyderco’s round opening hole and secured by a traditional back lock.
• Steel selection: VG-10 and CPM SPY27 variants offer distinct approaches to edge maintenance, corrosion resistance, and performance.
